Дисертація присвячена розробленню теоретичних і методичних засад та практичних рекомендацій формування економічної безпеки бізнесу в Україні. Досліджено еволюцію теорії економічної безпеки бізнесу, розкрито її сутність й надано об'єктно-суб'єктну характеристику. Вивчено передумови та чинники формування економічної безпеки бізнесу в Україні в умовах глобальних викликів і загроз. Виконано порівняльний аналіз бізнес-середовища й визначено основні загрозливі форми інституційних деформацій, що мають прояв в Україні. Розкрито методологічні засади оцінювання економічної безпеки бізнесу та обґрунтовано пропозиції щодо їх удосконалення з урахуванням інституційних деформацій і загроз. Установлено залежність та досліджено чутливість інтегральної оцінки економічної безпеки бізнесу до найбільш небезпечних загроз і здійснено моделювання їх впливу.Обґрунтовано сукупність напрямів підвищення дієвості механізмів подолання ризиків та забезпечення економічної безпеки бізнесу. Запропоновано нові підходи до визначення пріоритетів безпекоорієнтованої державної економічної політики й формування сприятливого бізнес-середовища.^UThe dissertation is devoted to the development of theoretical and methodological principles and practical recommendations for the formation of economic security of business in Ukraine. The evolution of the theory of economic security of business and modern approaches are investigated. The essence of economic security of business is revealed, its place in the general system of business environment and maintenance of economic security of the state is defined. The object-subject characteristic of the system of economic security of business is given. The preconditions and factors of formation of economic security of business in Ukraine taking into account global challenges and threats are investigated. Threats to the formation of economic security of business and institutional distortions in Ukraine are generalized. A comparative analysis of the business environment as a basis for ensuring the economic security of business entities. Incentives and disincentives for ease of doing business in Ukraine in the institutional sphere have been identified. The indicators that determine the criticality of Ukraine's lag behind the world average parameters of the competitiveness of the national economy are generalized and systematized. This made it possible to identify real threats to the economic security of business associated with too low level of financial market development, macroeconomic and financial instability in the country, inefficiency of public administration, low level of social protection, in particular the unsatisfactory state of the health care system. The COVID-19 pandemic is a source of fundamentally new, most dangerous threats to the economic security of business.The main threatening forms of institutional distortions that are manifested in Ukraine (shadow economy, raiding, unproductive outflow of capital, corruption) have been identified. These forms of institutional distortions are the largest in terms of volume, socio-economic consequences and real threats to the economic security of business in modern Ukraine.Methodological approaches to the study of economic security of business are proposed, general and special methods, principles, methods of scientific knowledge are determined. The methodological principles of assessing the economic security of business are revealed, the objective function of which is to assess the real trends of change of the integrated indicator of economic security of business taking into account changes in the external and internal environment. A system of indicators for assessing the economic security of business has been formed, taking into account current threats and institutional distortions in Ukraine. The dependence and sensitivity of business economic security to the most dangerous threats are established and the modeling of their influence is carried out.The set of directions of increase of efficiency of mechanisms of overcoming of risks, taking into account existing features of economic, political and sociocultural situation in Ukraine is substantiated. New approaches to defining the priorities of state economic policy are proposed, which require reassessment of the role and impact of traditional factors on economic security and business environment (economic, political, institutional, infrastructural, socio-cultural and others) and the introduction of new, more effective economic management mechanisms. both at the level of enterprises and the country as a whole, aimed at eliminating barriers, obstacles, risks, threats that change the conditions for realizing the potential of business development in the context of increasing global challenges. A new approach to creating a favorable business environment is proposed, where the state controls the understanding of the need to create conditions for its free development, where institutional factors should act to ensure business security, reduce transaction costs, increase efficiency and favorable business environment. The mechanism of the safety-oriented business environment formation in Ukraine is developed.
