Implant-supported fixed restorations are widely used in practice with the aim of prosthetic rehabilitation of edentulous patients; however, in Ukraine, the aforementioned methods are currently not completely lawful due to the absence of departmental standards of time needed for orthopedists to manufacture such types of dentures. In prosthetic dentistry, labor inputs are determined based on the average standard working time for professionals that not always correspond to the actual time expenditures which must be taken into consideration when determining the appropriate units of labor input. The results obtained due to timing measurements of clinical processes of manufacturing implant-supported fixed restorations, their analysis as well as the calculations of the standard time showed that the units of labor input of orthopedists determined on the basis of the average time standards did not coincide with the units of labor input of manufacturing these prostheses determined on the basis of the actual time standards.

The objective of the research was to establish the levei of dental orthopedic morbidity among draftees in the western region of Ukraine. A clinical dental examination of 294 drafted men residing in Ivano-Frankivsk region was carried out; among them, there were 185 urban residents and 109 rural residents. There were established a quite high prevalence of dental orthopedic morbidity and intensity of its development, especially among rural residents - 275,7 and 522,9 people per 1,000 population among urban and rural residents, respectively. The amount of orthopedic care in terms of total number of dentition defects and the teeth with destroyed coronal portion requiring orthopedic treatment, was found to be 2,4 times greater among rural residents as compared to urban ones and reached 1899,1 versus 787,6 defects, respectively. There was determined the identical structure of dentition defects among both urban and rural residents; bounded edentulous spaces accounted for 100 % of cases, the absence of one tooth was observed in 92,3 % of cases. Conclusions: the urgent need for a radical reform of the system for providing comprehensive orthopedic care to drafted men with a mandatory active dispensary registration was substantiated.

Проведено поглиблене клінічне стоматологічне обстеження 170 осіб призовного віку чоловічої статі у віці 18 - 20 років серед міського і 162 серед сільського населення Одеської області. Встановлено, що переважна більшість об'єму зруйнованих і видалених зубів у даній категорії населення, як серед міських, так і сільських мешканців, які потребують ортопедичного лікування, становлять 6-ті зруйновані зуби і складають відповідно назагал 48,1 і 66,6 % та 77,7 і 70,7 % на верхній та нижній щелепах. Потім йдуть п'яті зуби, які серед міського населення видаляються у 2,5 рази більше ніж у сільського і складають відповідно 26,0 і 28,6 % та 11,1 і 11,1 %. Спостережено більш значний об'єм видалених зубів на верхній щелепі у порівнянні з нижньою. У 100 % випадків фіксуються тільки часткові дефекти зубних рядів.
