The investigation results are given on nano-scaled sign-changing shifts of the main peak of the microspectral Raman scattering within the single-crystal silicon cantilever beam under influence of flexural stress. The maximum value of Raman shift characteristic of silicon peak equal to 518 cm-1, when elasticity still remains, amounted to 8 cm-1. The qualitative explanation of increase in strength of the cantilever beam due to its small thickness (2mu m) is provided, which is in accord with predictions of real-world physical parameters that were obtained in software environment SolidWorks with the module SimulationXpress.

Shumakova // Журнал нано- та електронної фізики. - 2013. - Т. 5, № 3(1). - С. 03025-1-03025-3. - Режим доступу: http://nbuv.gov.ua/UJRN/jnef_2013_5_3(1)__27 Qualitative mechanism in line with experimental data on visualization of the domain structure and fine structure of the domain wall in weak ferromagnets has been proposed. The mechanism is based on the phenomenological consideration of Faraday rotation, optical absorption, and atom polarization in response to the radiation exciting Raman scattering. Qualitative agreement of estimates on the scattered radiation intensity in oppositely-magnetized domains with experimental results is good, which made it possible to attack problems of visualization of magnetic entities with nanoscale resolution.

Qualitative analysis of the underlying physical phenomena, allowed us to establish the conditions of their 3D-fractalization that consider the size of colloidal nanoparticles, its location and height from the drop center : rmin = Rmax = hmax and rmax = Rmin = hmin. It is shown that the main contribution to 3D fractalization is due to surface tension forces and the Coulomb force interaction.

Dobromyslov // Журнал нано- та електронної фізики. - 2014. - Т. 6, № 3. - С. 03023-1-03023-3. - Режим доступу: http://nbuv.gov.ua/UJRN/jnef_2014_6_3_25 By small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) and atomic force microscopy characteristic sizes are determined, structural features of thin iron films deposited by magnetron evaporation onto substrates from pyroceramics are established. It is shown that morphologically the film is characterized by disorder. It is formed from columnar nano crystallites that are oriented either perpendicular to the substrate or situated in its plane, which dictates polydispersity of those coatings. It is shown that SAXS may be thought of as nondestructive technique for analyzing structure and composition and conducting quality control of magnetron films.

Kozhitov L. Influence of Structural Features and Physico-chemical Properties of Metal-carbon Nanocomposites with Ferromagnetic Metal Inclusions on Microwave Radiation [Електронний ресурс] / L. Dobromyslov // Журнал нано- та електронної фізики. - 2014. - Т. 6, № 3. - С. 03024-1-03024-5. - Режим доступу: http://nbuv.gov.ua/UJRN/jnef_2014_6_3_26 Metal-carbon nanocomposites on the basis of polyacrylonitrile and compounds of metals (Fe, Ni, Co) synthesized at IR-heating and studied by SEM, X-ray phase analysis, Raman scattering, IR Fourier spectroscopy are characterized by the carbon nanostructured amorphous graphite matrix with uniformly distributed nanoparticles of metals (10 - 30 nm), their oxides and compounds - FeNi3 and FeCo, multilayered carbon nanotubes (~ 7 - 22 nm), and in the composition of Fe - Co / C fullerene-like formations - C60. All nanocomposites feature high absorption of electromagnetic waves in the frequency range 20 - 40 GHz. Two absorption mechanisms are proposed: dielectric loss in the amorphous carbon matrix and scattering of electric and magnetic components by ferromagnetic inclusions. Absorption was - 8,68 dB for Fe - Ni / C, - 12,93 dB for Fe / C, and - 7,07 dB for Ni / C and for Fe - Co / C was found to be maximum in the whole range studied (more than - 40 dB) with a peak of - 52,83 dB at 24,27 GHz, which is explained probably by both high nanocomposite electric conductivity 2 S / m and high specific magnetization of phase FeCo.

The mechanism of interaction of carbon additives with lead powder is proposed. It is established that the presence of carbon in the positive electrode material increases the lifetime of lead-acid starter batteries, as confirmed by tests.

The value of the critical concentration for micelle formation (CMC2) has been also found equal to 0,7 M.

Dobromyslov // Журнал нано- та електронної фізики. - 2014. - Т. 6, № 3. - С. 03037-1-03037-2. - Режим доступу: http://nbuv.gov.ua/UJRN/jnef_2014_6_3_39 The efficiency of carbon nanotubes produced by CVD-method on a nickel catalyst at a protection from microwave radiation is shown. These data are confirmed by scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray analysis and spectral analysis of the microwave radiation in the frequency range 26 - 40 GHz. The observed value of the transmission coefficient S21, up to - 42,7 dB, is in agreement with considered possible absorption mechanisms of electromagnetic wave energy in carbon nanoscale systems "CNT-nickel nanoparticles. The application of carbon powder materials in shielding of electromagnetic radiation has been theoretically justified.

Protsenko // Journal of Nano- and Electronic Physics. - 2013. - Vol. 5, № 4(1). - С. 04017-1-04017-6. - Режим доступу: http://nbuv.gov.ua/UJRN/jnep_2013_5_4(1)__19 This paper presents the results of investigation of phase-structural state, magneto-optical and magneto-resistive properties of multilayer spin-valve films structures on the basis of Fe, Co and Au. It was found that annealing of the samples up to Ta = 600 - 720 K leads to the formation of limited solid solution (s.s.) (Au, Co(Fe)) based on fcc-Au that considerably influences on the magnetic properties of the systems. The conditions and formation procedure of the most heat-stable systems with maximum values of magneto resistance, sensitivity to magnetic field changes and induction of demagnetization were found.
