Purpose. Development of methods for determining the efficiency of piggybacked cargo delivery in the international traffic. Methodology. The choice of the rational range of piggyback delivery of goods in international traffic is based on the analytical method and mathematical modeling. Findings. The method of choosing the rational range of piggyback delivery of goods in international traffic is proposed, based on the determination of the equilibrium value of the distance of transportation for alternative options: delivery by road transport through service and piggyback delivery. Criterion of the effectiveness of intermodal technology for the delivery of goods in international traffic under conditions of a certain location of production and consumption is substantiated, which is the unit cost of delivering the goods from the point of departure to the destination subject. On the basis of a detailed analysis of individual elements of alternative technologies, the costs of all elements of alternative options are formalized: delivery by road transport through service and piggyback delivery. Originality. Mathematical models of the process of delivering goods in international traffic have been developed for alternative options: road transport through service and piggyback delivery. The models are based on the system approach and take into account the costs of all technological elements of the delivery process, subject to the limitation of the delivery time. Practical value. The application of the proposed methodology makes it possible to select a rational intermodal technology for the delivery of industrial and technical goods in the international traffic. The developed mathematical models allow simulating the process of cargo delivery for alternative variants, including in the maintenance of mining enterprises, metallurgical and machine-building complexes, which makes it possible to operatively estimate the unit costs depending on the values of price and technological parameters.

Purpose. Determination of the scope of effectiveness of piggyback cargo delivery in the international traffic. Methodology. The scope of efficiency of piggybacked cargo delivery in international traffic is determined using mathematical modeling. Methods of mathematical statistics are used to estimate parameters that are random in character. Findings. The problems of organizing piggyback transportations in international traffic, having a technical, technological and economic character are revealed. The main trends of the development of piggyback traffic in Ukraine, requiring state support and financing, are identified. It is determined that the law of distribution of service intensity at the Border Inspection Post is exponential, the intensity of service is 1,83 veh/hour; the law of time distribution for loading cars onto platforms is normal, with a mathematical expectation of 0,712 hours and a standard deviation of 0,24 hours. A rational distance of piggyback traffic in international traffic is determined, which corresponds to 307 km and over. Practical recommendations on the rationalization of the technological process of interaction between the road and rail transport with the help of an automated heuristic system, which makes it possible to determine the rational technology for delivery of goods in international traffic, taking into account the minimization of the total time for delivery of goods are offered. Originality. Dependences of specific costs on transportation distance with the help of which it is possible to determine the rational transport-technological scheme of cargo delivery under given conditions are obtained. The schedule of technological process of functioning of both production and transport, assuming the coordinated technology of work of interconnected enterprises at the organization of piggyback delivery in conditions of transport-logistical cluster functioning is offered. It is proposed to carry out the transfer of information on the movement of a loaded car using a GPS tracker. Practical value. Dependences of unit costs on the distance of transportation make it possible to quickly estimate the cost of delivering goods in international traffic for alternative transport-technological schemes. The use of an automated heuristic system that allows determining the rational technology of piggyback transport, taking into account the minimization of the total time for delivery of goods, makes it possible to make managerial decisions in the event of an unforeseen situation by making adjustments to the existing technology. The schedule of the technological process of functioning of both production and transport preconditions the possibility of rationalizing the technological process of road and rail transport interaction at the organization of piggyback cargo delivery.

Purpose. Development of a mathematical model for the functioning of the production and transport chain (PTC) of bulk cargo delivery by routes on the basis of a logistics approach. Methodology. The formation of a model for the functioning of the production and transport chain for the delivery of bulk cargo by rail transport is based on the analytical method of research, taking into account the principles of logistics and system analysis. Findings. Costs of individual links of the PTC for the delivery of ore cargoes by routes are formalized: the costs of loading, storage at the consigner's depot, transportation and storage of the consignee's cargo prior to its entering the production. A mathematical model of the functioning of the PTC of bulk cargo delivery by routes is developed. The optimized technological parameters related to the operation of the whole PTC are justified: the size of the cargo consignment, the technical equipment of the freight fronts, the delivery interval. Originality. A mathematical model of the functioning of the PTC of bulk cargo delivery by railway routes is developed, based on the system approach and the principles of logistics, taking into account the interaction of production, transport and consumption. Practical value. The developed mathematical model of the functioning of the production and transport chain of bulk cargo delivery allows modeling the process of cargo delivery from the mineral resource extraction sites and selecting the rational parameters of the rolling stock as well as loading and unloading mechanisms, their quantitative indicators; time and quantity parameters of the freight flow, depending on the values of the price and technological parameters. The model allows solving a wide range of tasks: those of suppliers and consumers in the independent formation of the supply chain; railway transport associated with the planning and management of operational activities of stations, and the choice of vehicle resources.

Purpose - to increase the efficiency of the process of bulk cargo delivery by exit routes by optimizing the technological parameters of the supply chain. Methodology - the optimization of the technological parameters of the supply chain for cargo delivery was carried out using mathematical modeling. To assess the effectiveness of the process of cargo delivery, an analytical method of research was applied. As a result of the research, optimum values of the technological parameters of the production and transportation chain of ore cargo delivery by exit routes were obtained: the composition of the formed route is 38 cars, the loading point performance is 324,2 t/h, the delivery interval is 1,75 days. Using the optimal technological parameters of the supply chain for the delivery of bulk cargoes by exit routes, the operational work of the railway transport is planned, ensuring compliance with the delivery interval for the purpose of implementing the requirement "just in time". The dependences of the specific costs of these parameters, which allow evaluating the nature of their changes in various given conditions, are constructed. The components of the economic effect of the supply chain for the delivery of bulk cargoes (coal, ores, etc.) by means of exit routes have been formalized and a method for evaluating the economic effect for both subjects of the supply chain is proposed: the owner of cars and production. Recommendations on the formation of the technological process of functioning of the entire supply chain are given for given values of the duration of the supplierіs and customer's production cycles, the duration of transportation, the intensity of the input of the delivered raw materials into production. To improve the efficiency of delivery of bulk goods, it is recommended to use the developed schedules of interaction between production, transport and consumption. At the same time, the intensity of raw materials receipt into production determines the optimal composition of the formed exit route and the delivery interval.

Зернова логістика в Україні активно розвивається, а тому потребує дослідження проблем зернової інфраструктури та транспортно-логістичного забезпечення в ланцюгах постачання. Проведений аналіз динаміки обсягів виробництва зернових вантажів свідчить про їхнє поступове зростання протягом 2010 - 2019 рр. Аналіз динаміки обсягів перевезень зерна і продуктів перемолу залізничним транспортом свідчить про тенденцію динамічного збільшення обсягів перевезення впродовж 2010 - 2019 років. Однак суттєвим темпам зросту обсягів виробництва зернових, а отже, зросту обсягів їхнього перевезення з подальшою перевалкою в морських портах, не відповідає рівень ефективності логістики. Наслідком цього є висока собівартість українського зерна, а, отже, зниження його конкурентоздатності на зовнішньому ринку. Виявлені недоліки процесу організації перевезень зернових вантажів залізничним транспортом в порти та запропоновані рекомендації щодо підвищення ефективності організації постачання зернових вантажів від постачальника до споживача.
