The article defines the features of the professional training of future specialists of economic specialties in a stepwise formation. It is proved that particular training determines the existing educational standards. The author describes the levels of professional activity in the modern society, who meet certain education and skill levels, they become students in educational institutions. Attention is drawn to the readers that it is necessary to improve the system of forming the content and structure of vocational training of future specialists in economics. In particular, the content of vocational education must be considered at different levels: at the level of theoretical concepts at the level of the subject, at the level of educational material and on a personal level. Such an approach would achieve a new quality of professional training of future specialists. The study emphasizes that the assessment of quality of professional training necessary to carry out on indicators that meet the quality characteristics of the modern professional model, the following groups of attributes: professional, personal, creative. Experience of Luhansk University, which focuses its activities on high-quality training of future specialists. The conclusions of the authors emphasize that in the modern educational space model of higher education functions as a multi-level, focused on providing young people opportunities for professional and educational choice, self-identity (the development of professional, personal and creative qualities).
