The increasing demand for high-quality network services and the surge in network traffic requires the adoption of more efficient load-balancing methods to maintain network performance. This paper discusses the use of OpenWrt, an open-source firmware for network routers, to configure and manage network traffic. The article also covers the implementation of QoS and traffic balancing techniques to optimize network performance and reduce network congestion. The study employs iperf3 to evaluate network performance and demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed network load-balancing approach. They are growing in importance as they offer secure data storage and authentication, improve security, simplify processes, reduce costs, and have a variety of applications. In particular, nowadays SIM cards play a vital role in the Telecom industry as an important type of smart card that allows a user to make calls, send messages, store details such as phone number and network authentication information, and provide various mobile data services. Currently, some leading companies take advantage of having their own smart card operating systems and have significant impact on the market on various issues (hardware on which the smart card operating system will run; security restrictions; control, permission and control of any application, etc.). It is important to work on creating a more flexible, adaptable and secure operating system infrastructure in order to overcome these limitations both in the customer perspective and in the ecosystem. The purpose of this research is to introduce the creation of a special Java Card operating system designed for SIM cards used in the Telecom industry. The study presents the software requirements and development steps of the proposed operating system and innovative architectural components necessary for its operation as a SIM card beyond being a Java Card operating system. The proposed new Java Card based SIM operating system is expected to pave the way for the development of eSIM operating system infrastructure as well as 5G technology and offer valuable opportunities. Bilyk V. Propagator-oriented programming model using Java / V. Bilyk, A. Sachenko // Advances in Cyber-Phys. Systems. - 2023. - 8, № 1. - С. 9-16. - Бібліогр.: 11 назв. - англ.The aim of this work is to explore and analyze an unconventional style of programming based on a propagator-oriented model of computation. The paradigm of propagation is characterized by networks of local, independent, stateless machines interconnected with stateful storage cells. This model allows for a highly modular design and multidirectional computation, enabling the creation of complex systems that can respond to changes and update their state accordingly. This work provides an overview of the propagator-oriented programming model, its motivations, and its advantages over other well-known alternative styles, using unsophisticated examples written in the Java programming language. We illustrate how propagator networks can be used to build flexible and efficient systems and present a basic framework for building such networks. The foundational components of the propagation model are implemented in Java as groundwork for the general-purpose framework. We demonstrate the power of propagator-oriented programming through an example of a Pythagorean Theorem implementation. The example shows how the model can be used to build complex systems of an arbitrary number of constraints and cells. We highlight the importance of information propagation over limited linear computation and the benefits of the multidirectional computation enabled by propagator networks. The open issue of detecting oil product leaks along the controlled section of the pipeline. Preliminary analysis of leak detection methods and principles of operation of hardware and software security diagnostics of the state of pipe transport networks has been considered. A method of studying experimental data and presenting results has been developed. Different literature sources have been analyzed, these literature sources provide information about real cases of pipeline system diagnostics and leak or defect detection. The software and hardware part of the control systems for conducting checks along the control part of the pipeline have been developed, and checks and evaluations of the results of the system checks have been carried out. Yakubovskyi R. Speech models training technologies comparison using word error rate / R. Yakubovskyi, Yu. Morozov // Advances in Cyber-Phys. Systems. - 2023. - 8, № 1. - С. 74-80. - Бібліогр.: 10 назв. - англ.The main purpose of this work is to analyze and compare several technologies used for training speech models, including traditional approaches as Hidden Markov Models (HMMs) and more recent methods as Deep Neural Networks (DNNs). The technologies have been explained and compared using word error rate metric based on the input of 1000 words by a user with 15 decibel background noise. Word error rate metric has been explained and calculated. Potential replacements for compared technologies have been provided, including: Attention-based, Generative, Sparse and Quantum-inspired models. Pros and cons of those techniques as a potential replacement have been analyzed and listed. Data analyzing tools and methods have been explained and most common datasets used for HMM and DNN technologies have been described. The system consists of a hardware module that collects weather data, a microprocessor platform that processes data, and a software application that visualizes and stores data. The software system is designed using the .NET platform, which provides an environment for software development. The system uses a web interface that allows users to access the weather from anywhere with a web browser. The test results of the system demonstrate collecting, processing, and presenting the weather in real time. By comparing readings from AccuWeather with data collected by Arduino sensors, we ensure the accuracy of measurements. Accu-Weather Europe is a source of weather data that can be used to validate weather information collected by Arduino sensors. In the developed systems, neural networks for weather forecasting are also used. The neural networks learn patterns and relationships in historical weather data to predict future weather conditions. It is formalized in the form of a framework that defines rules and recommendations for a developer on how to implement specific pieces of software that work with multimedia data. The basis for the development process is the division of the system's functionality into stages with the following development of each stage. The framework also defines how touch sensor events may be elaborated. The proposed framework has been tested in a test scenario in an application with multiple stages. The results proved that the solution is feasible for multimedia applications (specifically, with graphics processing) and can be regarded as a generalized approach to the development of embedded systems with multimedia functionality. Progonov D. Performance analysis of stego image calibration with usage of denoising autoencoders / D. Progonov // Advances in Cyber-Phys. Systems. - 2022. - 7, № 1. - С. 46-54. - Бібліогр.: 32 назв. - англ.Methods for early detection of sensitive information leakage by data transmission in open (public) communication systems have been of special interest. Reliable detection of modified (stego) cover files, like digital images, requires usage of computation-intensive methods of statistical steganalysis, namely covering rich models and deep convolutional neural networks. Necessity of finetuning parameters of such methods to minimize detection accuracy for each embedding methods has made fast retrain of stegdetectors in real cases impossible. Therefore, development of low-complexity methods for detection of weak alterations of cover image parameters under limited prior information about used embedding methods has been required. For solving this task, we have proposed to use special architectures of artificial neural networks, such as denoising autoencoder. Ability of such networks to estimate parameters of original (cover) image from the noisy ones under limited prior information about introduced alterations has made them an attractive alternative to stateof-the-art solutions. The results of performance evaluation for shallow denoising autoencoders showed increasing of detection accuracy (up to 0,1 for Matthews correlation coefficient) in comparison with the state-of-the-art stegdetectors by preserving low-computation complexity of network retraining. Therefore, virus can be transmitted through the information in encrypted form. This is also applied to embedded systems. In this regard, the article is assigned to the topic of cryptocurrency protection in embedded systems. The article is focused on the algorithm of symmetric block transformation "Kalyna". The algorithm has been developed in cooperation with the State Special Communications Service and leading Ukrainian scientists. The experience and results of international and open national competition of cryptographic algorithms have been taken into account. The algorithm is intended for gradual replacement of the interstate standard DSTU GOST 28147:2009. Its differences from other data encryption standards used, both in Ukraine and in the world, have been analyzed. The stability of the "Kalyna" algorithm has been also analyzed using a high-bit key (512 bits) and its speed has been compared with other cryptographic protection algorithms. Following the list of critical technologies in the production of weapons field and military equipment (following the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 30.08.2017 No. 600-r), an embedded microcontroller system for the protection of information for on-board equipment has been developed. A valuable stage of the system introduction is its research and testing. One of the stages of testing is the verification of the generator of random codes to use for the generation of encryption keys and digital signatures. Based on the previous works and research of the Kalyna algorithm, methods and tools for creating a random code generator have been studied to use in the built-in cryptographic data protection system for data encryption/decryption and for working with a digital signature. Means of checking generated random codes and comparing them with existing counterparts have been developed. A methodology for developing a client-server system based on a tool for automation of work in Selenium web browsers based on the analyzed information about data parsing has been created. A third-party API as a user interface to simplify and speed up system development has been used. User access without downloading additional software has been enabled. Data from web pages have been received and processed. Development has been based on this methodology of its own client-server system, which is used to parse and collect the information presented on web pages. Analysis of cloud technology services for further deployment of data collection system from web pages has been carried out. The relevance of this topic has also been substantiated. Currently, there is a small number of devices in demand with a comfortable user interface and timer, which allows to adjust the watering at any time of day. The advantages over other available analogs and the need to create a customized system have been investigated. The developed structuralschematic diagram of the irrigation control system of houseplants based on the Arduino Nano microcontroller and a diagram of the algorithm of the subsystem has been proposed and given. As a result, there has been an example of the development of a subsystem that aims to improve and simplify the care of houseplants, which will save time and water resources. An extremely significant role in the life of moder society is took by information output devices, the development and modernization of which is an urgent task. Using the idea regarding wireless control of remote devices, an information board with remote control was developed. This article provides a reader with the development of universal information board which customers will be able to assemble for the dimensions that they need. The created device displays text news from websites, displays time and important messages. For the convenience of updating information and automation - the board should have WiFi with Internet connection. The information board is a great way to receive news quickly, without using other means to obtain information. The information board is designed on the CY8C624ABZI-D44 microcontroller. Also, important structural elements of this board are: buffer chip - SN74ALS244CN, LED matrix control chip - MAX7219, LED matrix - 1088AS and WiFi module - LBEE5KL1DX. Systems. - 2022. - 7, № 1. - С. 22-28. - Бібліогр.: 11 назв. - англ.Today, various contactless smart cards are used to protect our personal information and to perform secure and fast transactions. Many contactless smart card applications are becoming commonplace, from corporate access control cards to electronic passports and financial payment. There is a wide variety of smart cards on the market that differ in size, chasis, memory, computing power, and even the security features they provide. Although MIFARE Classic cards, which are used in many areas due to their price performance, meet certain security and functional needs, the weaknesses of these cards have made the applications and systems they are used in question. The aim of this study is to introduce a new design on MIFARE Classic contactless cards that will eliminate the basic shortcomings with minimum impact, and to perform high-security payment transactions using these cards, which do not support high-security payment transactions in their basic design. By using flexible data organization and storage scheme, their sector structure can be used for different purposes. The proposed new design includes derivation of critical card data by using cardspecific information which ensures that the keys that provide access to the sectors of card are different on all cards; protection of card information through a certificate mechanism; usage of a new data structure with mirroring and redundancy methods to ensure data integrity and provide a server-side authentication mechanism for online transactions.
