The catalog "Factory Newspapers of Ukraine, 1917–1991, in the Collections of the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine" comprises 974 titles of mass-circulation periodicals. The newspapers available in the collections of the VNLU were examined de visu by the compilers. The catalog includes complete bibliographic descriptions of the newspapers and their various appendices, arranged alphabetically by title and chronologically. The descriptions are reproduced in the original language. The publication is equipped with a scholarly reference apparatus consisting of two auxiliary indexes: a geographical index (listing the names of localities where the newspapers were published, presented according to the norms of the time with references to their modern names) and a chronological index. Additionally, it includes a list of abbreviations and their full forms. The catalog is intended for researchers in various fields of the humanities and for all those interested in the history of the Ukrainian press.
