The sixth issue of the series “Sources of Ukrainian Biographical Studies” reveals the history of memoir development in Ukraine, publication of memoirs, compilation of a bibliography of national memoirs, as well as modern experience in this field. The information on memoirs published in Ukraine between 1816 and 1917, which are kept in the collections of the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine and other libraries of the country, is systematized. The publication includes separately published memoirs in all languages. Each item includes a full bibliographic description, biographical information about the author and the main “hero”, chronological boundaries, geographical heading and annotation of the memoir's content.
