This edition is the result of scientific works on fund of the historical library of the Kyiv-Pechersk lavra. which is keep in the department of historical books collections of the Vernadsky National library of Ukraine. Subject elucidation was the original printing, stamps, book-plates, stickers, that are witnessing about former owners of these books. Finding out about primary owners of books became a great push to studing of the archived materials of the Kyiv-Pechersk lavra, that is kept in the Central state historical archive of Ukraine in Kyiv. During the research have been find new facts narrative history of monastery. Exactly due to the stored private book collections have been returned from non-existance famous at that time Orthodox representatives, and little known representive homily of Orthodox. The work reveals the characteristic features of the book culture of the clergy from the 18th to the beginning of the 20th century. The work evidence great importance to the library in the history of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and Ukrainian culture, and as a result of the enter on list of the monastery to the objects of the cultural heritage of UNESCO.
