The book is the first written in Ukrainian language synthesis of history of military and diplomatic relationship between Poland and Teutonic Order in XIII - beginning of XV. Basing on the vast amount of narrative and act sources the mongraphy consistently discloses reason and background for polish-teutonic political and military struggle in XV - first decade of XV; it studies the consequences for further development of both countries. Special attention is paid to researching the character and forms of cooperation of polish lords with the Order at the initial stages of its location in in Prussia, as well as to the part played by polish knighthood in Prussian crusades of european nobility. It is discovered in which way the solution of bilateral conflicts between Kingdom of Poland and Teutonic order in Prussia was carried out. The popular statement about exclusively antagonistic role of polish-teutonic coexistence is rebuffed.
