The presented scientific publication represents the manuscript heritage of the outstanding Ukrainian writer P.Y. Panch, which is kept in the Institute of Manuscripts of the V.I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine. It analyzes the structure of the personal archival background of the outstanding Ukrainian writer, highlights the main directions of his literary and social activities. It has emphasized that that the documents of personal origin, in its totality is a reflection of creative and scientific potential of the writer. Therefore, the archival sources make it possible to dwell on the role of one individual in the context of the historical epoch, and provide an opportunity to re-evaluate the contribution of the writer to development Ukrainian literature of the 20th century. The structure of the catalog is determined by the species content and composition of documents of the artist's creative work. The publication consists of a preface, which outlines the life and career of the writer, and the Catalog itself, which is based on archaeographic descriptions of documents of the personal archival fund P.Y. Panch: biographical documents, creative work, documents of official and public activity, epistolary heritage, photo documents, materials of other persons, etc. The presented catalog aims to represent and introduce into scientific circulation the archival manuscript heritage of the outstanding Ukrainian writer P.Y. Panch and will be a source for scientists who study the problems of preservation, restoration, use of manuscript heritage and study the history of Ukrainian literary process of the 20th century.
