The research presents the history and music production of the publishing house of Jindřih Jindřišek (1857–1924) – Czech by origin, the owner of a music store, workshops for the repair and production of musical instruments, the founder of the Extraphone record company, one of the founders of the Sokil sports society and the Jan Amos Comenius Educational Society, one of a member of the Kyiv City Council , an active figure in the public and political life of Kyiv. At the beginning of the 20th century, his publishing house was the second largest sheet music publishing center in Ukraine in terms of size and importance. The work characterizes the peculiarities of individual editions and publishing series. The information and scientific descriptions of all copies of Jindřišek's sheet music found at this time are provided not only from the collections of the VNLU, but also from other libraries, private collections, and Internet resources. Those editions for which information was obtained from indirect sources are also presented (a total of 1,422 items). The fate of individual publications that Jindřišek actually republished, using polygraphic forms (publisher's number = music plate number for scores) of his predecessors from the 19th century (A. Sokol, I. Budkevich, etc.), was traced, as well as later reprints made in Soviet times from Jindřišek's plate number with the original data of "Kyiv Music Enterprise", "Ukrainian Music Publishing House", and "Mystetstvo". The study of activities and the reconstruction of the publishing repertoire makes it possible to reproduce previously unknown pages of the history of the book business and culture in Ukraine. In the comments to the descriptions, information is provided about the authors of the music, words, and the persons to whom the works are dedicated. The publication is accompanied index of name, by a table of the sequence of music plate number compiled by the authors, which reproduces the chronology of the publishing house's activities. The work is illustrated with 305 images (mainly title pages). Most of the information about Jindřišek's products is being introduced into scientific circulation for the first time. The publication is intended for researchers of Ukrainian culture, art historians, musicologists, bibliographers, performing musicians, teachers, historians, ethnographers, folklorists, bibliographers, librarians, museum workers, sheet music publishers, as well as a wide range of music connoisseurs. Keywords: sheet music publishing house, repertoire of music publishing house, musical culture of Kyiv, Jindřih Jindřišek, home music making, musician's pedagogical repertoire.
