This monography for the first time systematically presents methodological principles of paleographic orphographic research of Ukrainian particularly, and eastern slavic as a whole, cyrillic handwritten book. Paleographic orphographic attribution is determined as a new interdisciplinary branch of paleography, codicology and codicography. Monography studies the usage of letters in orphogramies on phonetic-orphographic and extraphonetic levels in statutory and semistatutory codices of late XIII - early XVII in evolution and “revolution” of Middle Age Ukrainian book writing development; selected attributive orphograms on the level of graphic letter coordination in doubled opposition in chronology of functioning in book graphic-orphographic system. Also the paleographic corphographic formulas are presented. The complex researches of codexes are presented.
