The text of the famous Orsha Gospel of the 13th century is published for the first time by the method of metagraphing. The manuscript is exquisitely illuminated, written in Church Slavonic in Cyrillic charter script on parchment. The codex is kept at the Institute of Manuscript of the V.I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine (fond 301, No. 555 P). An electronic copy of the manuscript is presented on the institution’s website in the Digital Library of Historical and Cultural Heritage: http://irbis-nbuv.gov.ua/dlib/item/0000026 Scientific research and the text of the Gospel with word form indexes and tables have been prepared for the publication. Paleographic and linguistic data from the research confirm the Ukrainian origin of the manuscript and the ancient Kyivan language edition.

For historians, codicologists, paleographers, philologists, art historians, theologians, and anyone interested in ancient Cyrillic manuscripts.
