This publication starts a series of catalogues. The catalogues are to present documentary acts concerning the history of property rights for land ownership of Kyiv monasteries from the unique collection of Kyiv government chamber, which is preserved at the funds of the Institute of Manuscript at V.I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine. The considered source study research was caused by amplified interest towards various historical and cultural aspects of the Church's functioning on Ukrainian territory. The first issue of the publication a collection of documentary acts from the 16th-18th centuries time frame from the Mykhailivskyi Zolotoverkhyi monastery, which includes 314 archaeographical descriptions. The documents are originals and copies of royal privileges, royal charters, Hetman decrees, court lawsuits, merchant and replacement records, wills, etc. The foreword analyses the history, structure, and traditional of scientific description of the documents from the collection of Kyiv government chamber. The appendix contains the catalogue of documents of Mykhailivskyi Zolotoverkhyi monastery from the collection of Kyiv government chamber, which are absent at the Institute of Manuscript of V.I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine and reconstructed based on descriptions from 1786 and 1837, as well as the photocopy of "Brief inventory of Kyiv Mykhailivskyi Zolotoverkhyi monastery's estates..." manuscript. The scientific and referential apparatus consists of title and geographical indicators, indicator of institutions, lists of abbreviations of used literature and archival sources. The publication is aimed at historians, lawyers, culturologists, as well as a wide circle of any person interested in the history of Ukraine. Cite: Sokhan Svitlana.
